Does it really matter if he is 6' or 6-1 or 6-4? Yes, I guess it does. But, if he is as good a shooter as some shere believe, it won't make too much difffeence. Does anyone else rembember Billy Keller as 5-10? He had a pretty good career for someone who was too little to play the game. Then maybe you also remember the Pacers once introduced him as 10 feet tall. He could do it all. If you are a true shooter it's not the size of the body that is importanat. It's the size of the heart.

How tall is Ballentine from Evansville? 5-11? 6 ft?

Mostly because he's white I guess.Like I said before ,coach saw something,we'll just have to wait and see.Menser was short and he did ok.

Why are we even discussing this. In the videos, I saw no resemblance to Eitel.[/QUOTE]

Coach did see something in him and if he is "coachable" Lansing can show him how to use the ability he has. I would bet he will change some thinking as he developes. Good catch !

Just checking the old posts on here. I did not mean to imply that GP can drive to the hoop and finish like Brown or Etherington. I wouldn't want to deduce that from a highlight video from HS or JC. But It would be a plus and help open him up outside if he can.

I think he's basically a shooter. We need Brown, Scott, Smith and Etherington to drive.

The way the games were called this year, you can't be stopped if you drive into a moving defender or a stationary one "close" to the circle under the basket. It's a block every time if you don't use your arm or shoulder. I hope the team is practicing that. It's best to drive into the defender's shoulder.

Yup, expected this and probably better for both parties. I wish nothing but the best for him with his future endeavors, seemed like a great teammate and friends with everyone.

With this transfer, are we now full for the 2016-17 season? I believed that we were one scholarship over before this announcement.

Another example of our ability to judge talent and make use of what we could get. Grant sorry we didn't make better use of your talent. It was fun to watch you be a great teammate. Hope the future is good to you.

Best of luck to you Grant! Always hustled and played hard. Always appeared to be a great teammate. Wish you nothing but the best.
