Emondre scores 10 in his second game of the season. Not sure how much to take away from this game as his team was up by almost 50 at the half and used a running clock the entire second half. Not sure he played a whole lot.

I think the final score was around 80-20, or something close to that.

You can watch Emondre's most recent game here....

This might have been a premature statement. Hope he keeps working.

To be clear, I watched TJ in high school and have been very high on him and remained pretty consistent on that. Obviously he hasn't done a whole lot to this point in his career so I haven't had much of a case to make.

But if you want to go around finding posts and checking validity be my guest, just create a different thread next time. When I stated, "Said the same thing about TJ Bell... And still waiting." I guess I should have said, "I said the same thing about TJ Bell and that I am still waiting." I don't see what was "premature" about that statement? As I was still waiting on him to realize that ability.

If I would have said "Never going to happen" then maybe that would be a premature statement. But when you say, "still waiting" that insinuates only one thing - that I was still waiting.

Back to Edmondre Rickman.

I may have misunderstood. I thought "still waiting" sounded like a derogatory comment.

It likely sounded that way but certainly wasn't intended, sorry about that.

I was just being ah-matter-a-fact about it! Rickman is raw but has a big upside - same things have been said and still hold true for TJ Bell.

He's come a long way - showed a lot more toughness and grit than I think Lansing thought he had in him. Proud of him for that. I have always been a TJ Bell fan and I have been higher on him than many that have come through this program. I think he is a tallent athletic big that really has a solid mid range game. He has developed a little slower than I would have foreseen and his defense has been suspect at times! Good to see him playing well.

That being said, hopefully Rickman develops a little quicker. Big men take a little longer at this level for the most - projects are projects.

I just found a website with, supposedly, ER's stats for this year. They are pretty modest, so I hope he can develop for us.
Looks like a redshirt possibility; and I know I'm speaking prematurely, and he can mature a lot in the next year.

He is usually doubled, if not triple teamed and I don't think he gets that many touches in games. His high school team seems to do a lot of outside shooting.

I would be very surprised if he redshirted considering Kessinger's injury. We will need all the post players we can get, no matter how raw.

A few weeks old, but short article on Emondre that lists his stats for the year. Keep up the work on the boards big fella'! We will need it next year.

Yep. I don't think we'll be able to redshirt him so he is going to have a BIG summer ahead of him. Hopefully he can put on 10-15 pounds of muscle between now and the start of the season if he really has grown to 6'10" as people keep reporting.

Yea, I've seen him listed at 6'8", 6'9" and a few at 6'10", so who knows which one is legit.
Well, it is his AAU coach calling him 6'10" so hopefully he is actually correct. If he is a legit 6'10", I don't care if he ever scores as long as he can board and defend the paint.
