Definitely ran the show and looked disciplined as far as getting the team set up, which I think is what Lansing wants. I didn't see him look to shoot much but he looked athletic and strong. I'd say if he's the starting point guard for the #9 JUCO team in the country we can use him.

Pretty much my assessment. I also noticed him pumping his fist a couple times after dishing to his guys and them scoring. I like that.

Yeah, I liked the fact that he got the ball out of hands to teammates and didn't just dribbledribbledribbledribbledribble

Some improvement????? That's near the most improvement I've ever seen in one season.

Damned sure was no improvement in consistency! Never saw a team for a while that could lock down on defense in one game and not play any defense in the next one and do it all season long.

All teams are like that but I would have liked to see them improve the D more.

It was mostly the defense and rebounding as far as I'm concerned. We were weak at a couple of positions and could do nothing about it.

Does that make any sense after the improvement we had this year and the 3rd place finish?

Could be academics or work ethic/attitude though.

I missed all this improvement, other than Brenton Scott, T.J. Bell and scoring ability of Devonte. What else got better?

Good to hear. Hope we can land him.

Anytime you get an official, you know you've got a serious chance. Of his offers, I have to think we've got the most immediate playing time if he can come in and manage a ball game, get guys shots and not turn the ball over. He could quickly be a 25 mpg guy.

I'm not going to lie, the ability to come in and square off against Fred VanVleet has to be appealing since he is quickly moving up NBA team boards and is looking like he may come back. None of his other opportunities offers anything close to that. For a competitor like this kid appears to be, I'd imagine that has to be big.
