This kid is a long and athletic wing that would most certainly fill the role of a possible game changing defender Lansing is looking for IMO.

Unfortunately this will give opportunity for other schools to get involved so if we want him we need to go HARD! Maybe C. Hughes can work some magic since he apparently knows him.
 
I agree and Some big schools have lost kids late (Ole Miss , Tenn) so I think it's going to be even harder now. Clayton has told him how much Fun it would be playing with him and why he picked ISU. One plus I can see now is that there may be time to get him on an official and that was all it took for C Hughes!

With Hughes signed we would have two Athletic big wings! Plus with his size and seeing him play he can play the stretch four position with Hughes at the 3. Either way we can get them on the floor together the better. Like Coach Lansing said in his interview ab this class they got a lot more athletic with all the guys they added and hopefully with the last guy they can just add to it. I know they r working hard to finish the recruiting class strong!

Not this year, but next year if this kid signs here, we could have a very dynamic lineup.

Barnes, Key, Hughes, Young and Thomas if you want to go smaller. Key, Hughes, Young, Thomas and Rickman if you wanted to go big. The staff would have so many possibilities if all of those guys pan out.

Trace has indicated to one of his HS teachers that he's going to wait until the last day to commit for 2018 - no indication where yet

ISU and ILLST from MVC, Troy, and UCONN are schools that he's named. I truly believe he's not made up his mind and it could come down to the last push to make him feel most at home.
