Is Bird in IU’s HOF, those fans love to say he started at IU for whatever reason…not really a brag

He considers Wake Forest his alma mater so not a chance.

Sorry, I feel the same with Tyreke, too. He lists Tennessee as his alma mater on his team page even though I don't believe he got a degree there.

No chance

On a side note I'm going to watch my Deacs get murdered at Notre Dame tomorrow

All the talk about how he left because Lansing was canned and what could have been, then he played one year at Wake and left early to cash in and will be out of the NBA after two to three seasons.

1. Its makes me sad about our program's past that we're asking about the HOF given dude played on 2 winning teams and had some stats.
2. It makes me excited about the future given our trajectory with # of wins and talent level we're bringing in (future pro's).
3. Is LaRavia a future NBA player tho?? I mean he's on the roster but can't get on the court for a really bad team in year 2. I wish he would be sent to the G-league so he could get some run. Kid just isn't ready. There's a reason Roddy (same age as Jake btw) is playing and LaRavia isn't.
4. It'll be interesting to see how programs evaluate someone being worthy of the HOF given the new state of player movement.
5. Anyone who doesn't list us as their alma mater now better not suddenly switch when we blow up!!

Just call LaRavia Yo-Yo -- he's bounced from NBA to G-League twice thus far into the season... Griz are paying him $3.2M... just a bit more than they are paying Derrick Rose.

Where do you hear, see that factoid?

nba.com bio lists a "last attended school"

wiki and basketball-reference list both State and wake f.

From what I understand, the players get to decide what is said in the intros and on their graphics for broadcasts. There have been many a player that shout out their high school, for example. But more so, I feel that way because every time he was interviewed after being drafted, I don't recall him every mentioning State and always talked about his brief time at Wake.

They just need to leave him there so he can play every night, get reps, and more confidence. Let him put up big numbers, then in case of extreme emergency break glass and call him up.

Yep, I was trying to find Rickman's Euro game on livetv.sx and ended up watching his game the other night where he dropped 30 or so. He was on fire and his shot looks textbook these days.
