His improvement from December until now was unreal. Really started to click for him the last half of the season. I'm sure it wasn't always smooth for him but he stuck with it and went out with a bang, Thank you AG

I mean I would take AG back. But I don't think he is that player that gets you to the top of your conference or NCAA tournament. Solid role player on a good team? Absolutely. Billikens might be a little disappointed with that move

Not sure why he would want to go play under a coach where he got 5 minutes a game
Said coach is desperate…Swope and Jimmerson were their only creators and Robbie looked broken down the last few games. There’s not much talent left. I’m sure JS would give AG one of his 15 spots, but don’t think he would get a ton of run.

I see more upside for Aaron to return, collect decent NIL, & prove he can dominate the Valley ALL season long. His Euro stock would be relatively high (more pro $).
Or
"Move up" to a slightly higher league, & run the risk of fewer minutes & lower stats. Sure, collect a little more NIL, but Euro stock much lower. There's a chance he moves up & gets tons of minutes & crushes it, but not likely, imo.
Believe the Valley is a great level for him to showcase his skills next season. It's not all about 1 year of earnings, it's about the next 5-10 years.

Pros don’t care what your stats are. That’s not what they look for.

Purely "skills-based" assessments? regardless that many skills are captured via stats...
"upside" is a big factor, though can be difficult to capture
attitude is a factor, more so in NBA than Euro
Skill-based assessment is eye test and every club or pro team does it differently.
But you are correct on the upside and attitude.
I heard somewhere he is applying for a bonus year because of how much time he missed last year. Not sure whether that has actually been decided yet or not.

Just to be clear - he’s out of eligibility but is putting in a request to the NCAA for an additional year as is Teel.
Indiana State would love to have both back and both would like to come backs but both situations are highly unlikely and Indiana State isn’t going to hold a roster spot for them. So for the reason of self preservation they have to put themselves in the portal.
