Well look at it this way. He is in a school with pretty deep pockets. He has the support of Wichita. His income is over 1million $ per year. He has a bretty sweet situation. I don't believe he is looking to leave Wichita State for a better position; I believe he is looking to take the Shockers to a better position. Goodbye Valley; hello big time.
Anyone surprised Ben Howland is still available? Was thought to be the front runner at Marquette for a bit. Maybe skeletons in his closet? Doesn't make sense that a guy with his resume doesn't have a head coaching gig.

Tulsa is a tough sell. New conference, but "higher" academic standards than much of the AAC may make it hard to get players there.
