Good call and I hope we win it, but very weak like when we won Arch Madness the last time?

Wichita State and Creighton sucked at winning at critical times, for the talent both schools had.
Reminder, Wichita State rolled through the NIT that year with FIVE wins in that tournament eventually beating #1 NIT seed Alabama in the championship game.
Missouri State, the regular season champs that year couldn't even get an at-large invite to the dance, and were summarily blown out in the NIT.
And a decent UNI team choked and lost to #5 seed Creighton.

I'd say the MVC will be weak next year for sure...but not VERY weak, that honor goes to Arch Madness 2011.
Your absolutely right.

I think we should give the title back. Take down the banner with the 2011 mention on it. Strip it from the record. We should not celebrate winning the title in a year that was so down. It really wasn’t much of an accomplishment.

always good to read that warped perspective from a "fan, alumnus' eh Bluethunder?

and so many people wonder why ISU has the "fan base" it has... o_O

If you read the comments on the ball state board, it doesn’t sound like too many in Muncie are going to miss him.

The consensus seems to be “great kid, avg player”. Very few seemed to think he was going to get big minutes next year.

.... Doubt there are high levels of intellect on that board... it being full of ISU_Muncee people.

And isn't it a general rule when a player transfers out that little to nothing good is said about the player??

The kid avg 3.3 points a game and shot 30%. If they can’t replace that then they are in for a tough year

But it is good to see he must have gotten over his fear of the “diversity” at Stetson. Good for him.

Nothing like being psychologically reprogrammed after living a year w/ the "Children of the Corn"...thank God he'll be bilingual, speaking "Popcorn" & "Caramel Corn."

Why are you making this a question, when in reality, it's just a statement for all transfers.

Doyel also mentioned Brown has OCD... apparently, that played a role in leaving Stetson initially

"I feel like the Ohio Valley Conference is very winnable, and I feel as if I can impact winning right away and also help bring a winning culture to Edwardsville.
"The goal is to win and make it to the professional level. I feel like I can help them win and they can help me be a pro."

What, you think he was pushed out to make room for Wilbar or Bledson? come on. He announced 4 days after the new coach was announced. Too fast for a push.

Certainly possible. Schertz said he met with those that would have him right after the announcement. With the film rats he and Boisvert were, I'm sure they had already reviewed tape and knew which players would likely fit/not fit. But water under the bridge at this point.

Back to Stetson goes Luke Brown and gets 27 pts and Stetson Hatters take down Florida State in Tallahassee. LOL!

Neese needs to watch, and learn how to pull-the-trigger!
