At first glance Missouri State going toe-to-toe with West Virginia was impressive until you realize West Virginia at one point missed 21 shots in a row and started the game 4-32 shooting. My goodness, talk about a blown opportunity to get a P5 win.
 
Not often I'm surprised with a school name but Evansville is playing, and I shit you not, University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis tonight.

I assume this is where all of the CVS and Walgreens pharmacists go to school since they are on every corner?

Belmont getting back into it by going to the rim. They cannot hit from outside and Tyson has been zero factor.

The name isn't surprising, believe it's one of the largest pharma schools in the country, more surprised they can sponsor any athletic teams
 
A lot of games tonight in the MVC. Anything less than 5-3 tonight is a disappointment. 3 intriguing games though in the Valley. Western Kentucky @ Murray State: Love how the racers got a home game here. Would be a nice win for them if they can pull it off. Green Bay @ Valpo: Valpo is bad. Green Bay is bad. Let's see how bad they are. UIC @ Loyola: Crosstown match-up, MVC VS A10, this could be a good one. I don't think UIC is as bad as people think. I also find it funny how Loyola is predictably stumbling in the A10 with the loss of their coaches and players and rose those profile. Would be nice for the MVC to sneak out 1 or 2 of these games.

I would like to thank the Atlantic 10 once again for taking them off of the MVC's hands. They had their flash in the pan moments with Krutwig and now they will probably be irrelevant for another 30 years again. UIC is way a better fit long term for the MVC, especially since they also have a baseball program that they care about.
