UNI is their weirdest story in the Valley this year IMO. Something is rotten in Iowa.

The game has evolved past Ben Jacobsen.

UNI looks like a solid mid-pack program as long as he is there. But too his defense, it was incredible that program got to the level they were at. I said it the second it happened, but that Texas AM collapse totally changed their program

Valpo has actually been playing better as of late mainly because their freshman big has been playing really well and is very confident in his shot.

Yeah, moreso that UNI was predicted to Top 2 and they are usually the most consistent program in the Valley. Just feels like we may be seeing the end of the Jake era there.

Going back through the box score and replaying the game in my head something jumped out at me. He benched his entire starting 5 with 14:40 left. I get it, he was 'sending a message' but Tytan Anderson was playing his but off. I'm not saying it would have made a difference but still. Dude drew 4 fouls and grabbed 2 offensive rebounds in 5 minutes of the 2nd, the entire bench mustered 5 more fouls drawn and 2 offensive rebounds the rest of the game.
