Drake @ Valpo: Valpo has shown signs of life. But if Drake is who they think they are, they should handle the beacons easily. One of the posters on their board said "you could not have drawn up a more difficult start for valley play." Going against the unanimous last place team is a hand no one wants to be delt
While true, the other thing that you have to consider teams have trouble winning against a certain team or struggle at a certain venue. For example for the longest we struggled at SIU, ILLST struggles at the Hulman Center, and Drake struggles at Valpo's high school gym. Don't know why but it's a real thing. To our credit, we got over that hump the past few years @SIU. I think now we just struggle against Missouri State. So they are right that if Drake doesn't play liker Drake it could be a rude awakening.

Probably Aces vs Bears. Would like to see if the Aces are for real or the result of a weak schedule.

They wouldn’t have to win tonight to impress, Springfield is a tough place to win at, but am curious to see how Rags’ bunch matches up with Da Bears.

Which of those games are you most interested in tonight? I can’t decide between UE & MSU or BU @ Murray
MSU will be down a couple of players tonight so UE has a chance to steal a road game. However Murray is still tough at home so I would probably go with that one. maybe go UE @ Mo St for first half then go BU @ MU for second half.

These are the ones I'll be keeping an eye. Part of me wants to see Murray beat BU just because BU is going to be up there in the standings with us, but I would not look forward to BU on Saturday after that upset. They would be focused and ready to go against us.

UE and Mo ST. The bears are giving 11.5 pts right now at home with a few players missing. I still don't think UE is that good, but that many points and missing a couple players this could be an upset in the making.

SSOM should i do something stupid and take the ACES and the points? Talk me off the ledge here im thinking about hitting the button on it.

Valpo splashing threes on Drake
Murray State tough w Bradley
Belmont up 10 at UNI

Uhhh our performance wasn’t a fluke, we’re legit. Conference play is tough, and we boat-raced SIU

Evansville can’t keep the Lee kid for MSU out of the lane. He just keeps driving and dishing. Either dishing for a layup by a teammate or kicking it out for a wide open 3 by a teammate.

I turned this game on late and it was a 3 point Bears lead. Evansville has scored one basket since I started watching and is now down 14. Almost halftime

Aces down 14 at the half.

To add insult to injury, pretty sure that’s Gerry Polard calling the game. So not only do the Evansville fans have to watch their team struggle but they have to watch some horrible officiating too

Just some thought on the first halves of the 3 games I can watch simultaneously.

Drake @ Valpo - Drake really misses Roman Penn and others that graduated. They are the youngest team in league. Not sure what to make of Valpo yet but I think the have played a really good half.

MSU vs UE - Evansville is really improved but I think MSU is a top 3 team in the Valley right now.

BU @ Murray - either BU was overlooking Murray or Murray is the best 2-3 team in the country. Murray may be figuring it out though with chemistry and talent.

Haven’t watched any of Belmont vs UNI

Missouri State too athletic and quick for Evansville to keep up with.

Missouri State is up 16 now but it feels like more than that.

It just blows my fucking mind that coaches continue to double unimportant players only to leave shooters wide open.

Maybe Perry will eventually miss one of these midrange jumpers that he loves to shoot. Maybe.
