Regardless of a couple of scores today, there were still some big wins for the MVC. Valpo over CMU, and BELMONTS win over a very decent A10 RICHMOND team at RICHMOND were very nice wins for the MVC. The future? At this pace look for TWO MVC TEAMS and possibly THREE to FOUR and as many as SEVEN MVC teams to make post season.

THE MVC is currently the 9th best conference in the NCAA.

That’s inaccurate.
1. NCAA quit using RPI some years ago.
2. Even if they did this is from last year.

You posted an article about RPI for what purpose?
Then on top of that the article you posted is not for this season. Click on the MVC just to see where they had teams ranked and it has last season stats. Therefore it’s inaccurate. You’re welcome!
 
I feel for Coach Rags at Evansville. He recruited some good players and they all up and left. Even with NIL funds, it is even a bigger crapshoot since the turnover is amplified.

You’re on the “MBB 2024” page, which is last season. You have to switch it to “MBB 2025” in the upper left corner to get this season.

The MVC is 10th in NET (it was top-10 in NET last year as well). The website also tracks RPI, but RPI isn’t used anymore.

Belmont in a 1 possession game with 6 minutes to go against UC Irvine.

Irvine has been been one of the surprise teams this season and would be a pretty good win for the valley at the end of the day

UI Irvine scores 64 in the second half after trailing 39-25 at the half. The Anteaters scoop up a victory and are now 10-1.

Didn't realize WMU had a Wal-Mart brand Hinkle Fieldhouse. Still a cool looking arena for a mid-major but doesn't compare to HF
