I'm fine with a one-time transfer with no penalty (that's what got us Kent, Swope, and Conwell) but a 2nd transfer onward should result in a sit-out year.

The problem is the P5 want no-penalty transfers because they want to be able to go shopping every off-season.

It will be interesting once there are several years of data with this system. I have no idea how schools will pass APR metrics so either those will have to be scrapped or both sides will need to agree to some sort of middle ground. It is now common for kids to transfer 3-4 times and with their sport requirements, it is questionable they can be on track for graduation.

The large majority of these kids desperately need these degrees... not the cash they will no doubtedly blow through being young, dumb and full of...

Retiring Coach K with a whimper would have put Caleb Loves jersey in the rafters at Chappel Hill for sure, but getting that Arizona $ was more important.

So yeah, retiring jerseys is going to be a rare occurrence going forward.

Why would anyone recruit high school kids these days? Just buy new guys each season that has college experience.

They were a rebuild with or without him. I think Wardle is waiting to see what happens with us and Drake before licking his chops.
