I said the same thing. If some guys are having a hard time choosing between a couple schools, a chance to play at Cameron Indoor might tip the scales our way. I would hope playing in the MVC and in one of the nicest arenas in the country would be good enough, but kids these days are fickle....haha
 
Very excited to see us getting our first ever Duke game. Would love another vs a team like Louisville.

Never know how teams will fluctuate year to year, but promising schedule so far. Duke, SIUE won the OVC, Milwaukee won 20+, and Ball State.. exists.

Saw where a planned game between Butler and Western Illinois is now off. Somehow they never signed a contract. We should be on the phone to WIU pronto.

I'd rather go after Butler, especially with our coach's ties to them...but I guess if nothing else, WIU will work.

Hopefully a small step towards renewal of regular season games. Somehow, I feel this "Exhibition" is going to be rather intense on both sides. Probably worth the drive.

Yeah, I was thinking at the bourbon thing, MG mentioned this to be at Hulman Center. I guess he couldn’t close the deal.

This seems like a “you will provide extra gate money and fan interest but we don’t want to risk a loss.”

Oh well. I get a little smirk every time I think about how far Butler has fallen off the national stage the last 7 or so years.
