UNI throwing out $75K guarantees! 
Crazy. UNI and SDSU should be a rotational game every year. Not really understanding the idea of throwing 75K at a neighboring peer institution when there is about a 1% of making the tournament as an at large in this climate.

Unfortunately this likely where it is heading due to revenue sharing being above board at the institutional level.
I wouldn’t call them traitors. Honestly it’s addition by subtraction as they really didn’t bring much to valley outside of a good baseball program (not elite) and….well….thats about it.
But that rebrand looks horrible. Way to small and looks like something I would have made in 2003 using word art

I bet literally every school in the Mountain West Conference, including the five whiners, have a direct flight to Phoenix. What will the MWC ever do without the constant drama from Boise, San Diego, and Fort Collins? If you announce you're leaving a conference you don't get to decide what they do. Their new conference mates in the "Pac 2" literally sued to keep the "departing 10" from having a say (and money). Can't wait until those three schools plus Oregon State have a p***ing contest of who can get into the Big 12 first. (Breaking: None of them have a chance anytime soon.) None of those schools will be happy for very long with playing Utah State, Texas State, and Fresno State. Just saying.
Poor, poor bears. LA TECH was the premier school in that conference. Conference USA has been the most revolving door conference of all time. Their name fits them perfectly

Nothing major will happen until we get closer to 2031 and media deals expire.
At that point, schools like FSU/Clemson/UNC/Miami will get P2 invites. Then the rest of the ACC could try to survive and invite schools like UConn/USF/Memphis, or get invited to the Big 12 and the ACC dies entirely.
Apparently the Big XII already signaled they're not interested. I wonder if its less "wait and see what happens to the ACC" and more not wanting to be involved in Memphis the city.
If FedEx has $200 million they'll put up for Memphis to change conferences, surely that money would be better spent moving their corporate HQ out of a city well on the way to being the next Detroit

An idea I've seen floated is Memphis sending their Olypmic sports to the Big East and football only to the PAC. (I personally think Memphis basketball would be great in the BE.)
