Manyawu and Stirtz are doing well at Iowa. Peterson at Washington, I think. Tyson doing great at Minnesota.Driving home Tuesday night, I had Sirius Channel 84 College Sports Radio broadcasting the Tennessee vs Louisville game. It was the UT broadcast and the announcers were jubilant that the Volunteers, led by Jacobi Gillespie (an MVC Alum) was thrashing the Cardinals; however, they were constantly mentioning how Ryan Conwell was a tremendous player and UT couldn't control him.
I don't think we appreciate how many MVC portal guys move to a power conference team and become a critical element in that team's success. They just are not the 10-14th player sitting at the end of the bench. I just wish I had a better mastery of all of the transfers out so I would recognize the names when I hear them.
Not a bad lineup starting with DeVries, Avila, Conwell and Gillespie. Throw in Rienck Mast and a few more and you might win a game or two.
The real question is how is Derf these days?Manyawu and Stirtz are doing well at Iowa. Peterson at Washington, I think. Tyson doing great at Minnesota.
