We will know by about January probably… Even if we had the roster filled - seen a lot of speculation on highlight videos over the years. You don’t know until they get on campus most of the time - some cases you know.

But you and others have the right to feel the way you do. I understand.

If the quality of the players is dependent on money and the players transfer every year then the odds are that you can compete with the other conference teams with similar war chests.
I'm not complaining and I'm not calling that pessimistic. I'm going to watch and root for the team that we put on the floor and I'm going to do my best to enjoy that.
 
I always get a little smirk on my face when a team that didn't really do anything and is not in pre-season championship contention has players that say they are going to "run it back". As a fellow conference member i'm totally fine if you want to run back an 11-21 season

I’d smirk too but one of those 11 wins was against ISU at ISU.

I don’t follow this stuff A T A L L refuse to… But come on, this guy out here conveniently flexing he has an offer from Drake - days later commits to SIU. Never committed a single offer prior to that. Lame

This is what I am saying - as a staff you really have to say, this is what I will give ______ player. You either like the number and what else we have to offer or you don’t. We will not partake in your market manipulation bull shit. As fans - you should not look at these situations as simple minded as we must not be offering enough - I want to know what we are offering. Don’t be that dense… A ton of market manipulation going on - not saying that is what happened here but this is a textbook example how it should happen from the players perspective…

We have an opportunity to be one of the most realistic, educated and sensible fan bases in the country when it comes to this insanity if we choose to - or you can get caught up when what everyone else is going and be that elementary. It’s a win win for me - be stoic trust in the people getting paid to make the decisions. You still have a job tomorrow - they may not.
