In some bizzaro world if we landed Rob Martin, Quimari Peterson, and Augistinos kiudlilos (I butchered the spelling) we would be over the moon.

Sorry didn't expand on it. But basically if we knew nothing about them and they transfered here we would be thrilled. Not saying we would be thrilled because they have a history with us. Just saying blindly looking at them they look like very good catches

Blindly looking… Harding and Cook and Summers were good catches, no? I think looking at former players that are again hitting the portal one has to realize they are hitting the portal for a reason.

I think it would be really good to build your program around players who are loyal and invested into your program but also looking to make a very guided and informed portal play… Because, in the current environment it’s all about timing and value for every single one of these kids - but the program has an obligation as well to spend donor dollars judiciously.

So while some of these guys have left and found success it doesn’t mean they would have ever found success here or would going forward - I also think the amount of times these guys have found themselves in the portal as a character indictment I’m zero percent interested.

Two of Graves most productive players this season JD and Gray returners… Who returned that didn’t get rewarded? The answer is very easy.

JD. Camp in particular are another developmental season, a good statistical season and a good team oriented season away from getting a big payday - they will likely get overvalued but they are close to being unaffordable here. Leave now and get paid slightly more and maybe go to a team in a slightly better conference and you don’t have an established role - play less minutes, get less exposure and you just ended your college athletics career for what? $100k? That is shit in this day and age… The real world is about to give you a very rude awakening.
 
PG Jacob Meyer is leaving DePaul. We recruited him out of HS.

My guess is he didn't like going from 35mpg at Coastal Carolina to 20mpg in Chicago.

Tell me how stupid of an idea this is…if you stay all four years at one school, you’re granted an extra year of eligibility, to be used at any school.

I’d even be open to: if you stay your first three years at your first school, you’re granted an extra year of eligibility, to be used at any school.

I think they need to immediately go back to the rule that you have to sit out 1 yr.
