We originally recruited him last Spring. Got him after all.

So far, our transfer class has been-NAIA All-American, D1, D1, Euro Pro, D1, NAIA All-American, D2 Runner-up, D1, D1

On top of 5 highly regarded incoming freshmen. This team is going to be so fun.

No idea how this kid will pan out. But I will say he looks very mobile for a 6’10” guy, like we havnt had a big be able to dribble and move like that….in well….i cant remember.

Seems like a low risk high reward commitment.

This might be my “can’t wait to see what he can do” player going into this season

I also like that his playing style and strengths appear to be a bit different from Alex's. Hopefully this will help with potential matchups & will provide coaching staff with many different possibilities.

Would love to know coaching staff approach to the last schollie: 1) accept best overall portal player regardless of position, 2) accept best available player with strong guard traits, 3) 3 & D wing, 4) proven player or unproven upside, 5) will they balance the roster age with a sophomore/Junior, or get another senior, 5) enough remaining funds for starter quality or likely more of a backup, or even a developmental role player?

I bet the speed of this roster haul has been a surprise. Last HCMG interview he stated he wanted to finalize roster by early June before summer school & might need to wait for some recruits to drop their asking price, if I remember correctly.

Yes I believe it was someone that has not committed. When the university puts out the release about when guys sign. The guy from this evening has just committed and assuming he will sign in the next few days.
