Yes, I think that was him. I thought he had potential. Didn't he have to quit due to some health problem? Are you sure it wasn’t Richie Adderley? Played in the mid 80’s? Former girls b-ball coach at Terre Haute South
74....and I remember Richie Adderley. He coached the T.H. South girls team for a while. I think he was sent back72. And you? Do you remember the Bahama boy?
I've been watching on youtube. He is built well.
Not sure about Bahamas but we had a kid named Reggie Golden that contracted myasthenia gravis (sp?). We actually had two “Goldens” in that era. If my memory is correct, he did remind d you of Ritchie Adderley as a player. Al Armstrong was unconscious as a shooter.72. And you? Do you remember the Bahama boy?
Lots of him in real games on youtube if anyone is interested. I really, really like his game. I can't think of any past ISU players to compare him to. Bigger, stronger and better shooter than Gabe Moore. Maybe a PG version of Scott. Or a D Brown at his peak and much better PG skills and a better shooter. The Times sure seems high on this young man. Said they thought he could be a high major player if not for the pandemic and guys being able to stay an extra year. High praise.
Yep, remember that. Squad included Carl Macon. They boat raced I.U.Alvin Armstrong......I saw him light up the I.U. freshman team back in the day before freshmen were eligible.
