[April 2, 2024] Indiana State (31-6) vs Utah (22-14)

WANTED: Passionate Sycamore Fanatics. That You?

Register NOW to join our community of die-hard Sycamore fans.

I suppose - yes the 70 allotment general area. Asking for a friend, as I don’t really care.
Have to assume we are one the “Home” bench and the section immediately behind that is 105. We are sitting in section 105 and I know several others that are.
Like ITF said, I expect the Sycamore Faithful to be in every section.

I don't know much about Utah, other than the little I've seen leads me to believe that they are a very similar team to us. Worse road record than us, but they can get up and down the floor and they're long and athletic. That could give us problems. We can't have the slow start that we've had the last three games and expect to weather it this time. We've got to come out on fire and keep up the pressure.

I expect this to be a close game. The predictor apps all have it just about a toss-up. Should be fun, and the raucous ISU crowd could very well be the difference. Get there, and BE LOUD!!!

Wont be posting much during the game tonight, but for good reason. I have family coming over for the sole purpose of watching the game together. I've been a die-hard for over a decade now. My family isnt (not from Terre Haute and never went to ISU) but they do enjoy sports. For years they have never once acknowledged an Indiana State game or even cared to tune in. I would tell them stuff like " we should be ranked this week" "we are Americas team this year" "we are leading the country in offense" and they would just laugh it off thinking I'm a homer with blue tinted glasses (I am but still). But they tuned into our last 2 NIT games themselves and I was told by my mom that they were hooting and hollering at the TV and were pretty pumped up when we beat Minnesota and Cincy. Then I got a text from my dad that said "hey we are coming over tonight to watch the game, we will bring some pizza, it'll be a good time." First time in 13+ years they have ever said anything remotely close to that. Go Sycamores!

I'm looking forward to tonight's game, I think someone said earlier we're due for a 'strong shooting night' prior to the Cincinnati game... the shots came down the stretch thank goodness, I still think we're due for a game where we shoot consistently well from the get go. Utah will give us all we ask for and we'll have to be on top of our game. But the home crowd coupled with Utah's shakiness on the road could put us over the top.

Hinkle has to be an intimidating place to play, but this team is special and can rise to the challenge, I'm sure coach Graves can also assist on that front.

We're going to need them. Utah is a very long team and block a bunch of shots so getting stuff at the rim may be difficult.

Their PG is also a triple double machine so it will be interesting to see how we defend him.

Gotta find someplace to watch tonight as storms ripped thru E’ville and many areas without power for days. GO TREES!!!

I was there back when either Shellhase or Green was coaching. Im sure it must be nicer than it was then. It was just a big barn. Hulman Center was much nicer.

I was there when Tyson Schnitker hit the 3 at the buzzer to beat Butler in I think 2005. That was an awesome finish to a game...and of course I enjoy seeing all the Butler faithful go home unhappy. Hopefully we can leave Hinkle tonight with the same happiness as that game....but I would prefer not needing a buzzer beater.
