Most bummed I've ever been as a fan. Like seriously, I'll be having nightmares about this one for the next 60 years of my life. Had the biggest game we've played in the last 45 years won and just choked it away.

No we needed to drive the ball to the basket and go to foul line. Haven’t looked but did they miss a FT. Probably outshot us double at foul line.

It is actually pretty impressive we were in the game considering our top two scorers went 5-20 tonight.

My only thing is I would have liked to see us burn clock up 7 with 2 to play. Our speed ended up killing us. Time and place.

I agree but I guess you take the risk of not getting a good shot if you wait until late in the shot clock

I have a hard time thinking we will ever see another team like this put on the Sycamore uniform again. 79 is obviously a different situation. But motherfuck this was a damn good team

I have many mixed feelings and emotions right now. On one hand, in a vacuum, we didn’t play well enough tonight. We fell short of our goal.

On the other hand, this was the most fun I’ve ever had watching ISU basketball. Every game was a treat to watch and the few I got to attend in person at Arch Madness were a thrill to experience. I will never forget these coaches, players or this season. I’m more sad that this ride has come to an end than I am losing this one game.

I have so much I feel like I need to say, but the words aren't there. Just absolutely gutted, but I am so proud of these guys. They filled this Sycamore lifer with so much joy, excitement and memories to keep that I will forever be grateful. What a year, Sycamores......what a year. I mean honest to God that was about the most beautiful time you could have in sports. I probably wouldn’t trade it in for a whole lot in my life not just sports life, but life in general.

I don’t think I’ve ever been really too worried about the outcome of any of these NIT games they were never to go. They were never the dream. I don’t think I change much. You got a winner in sports and you got a loser tonight we gotta beat.

That game had a lot of Drake vibes to it… winning sports euphoria in your hand. That’s why you show up. That’s why we talk about sports. it didn’t go our way today but goddamnit it went our way a lot this season we got a lot to be proud of. That’s where I’m at.

I'm more upset that it's over, than the game tonight......the amount of joy this team has brought is unmeasuarable! I'm coming to the realization that this will be the best Sycamore team of my lifetime!
