So what makes Seton Hall so successful? Is it their conference? Their recruiting? Their facilities? The fact that they had the foresight to discontinue their football program in 1982? Who knows, could be anything.
Money. Like most private schools that excel in basketball, they have plenty of it.

They got last round right so let's hope they're metrics continue to be accurate.

In general the way State plays is more explosive than Seton Hall but the Pirates are a defensive juggernaut and struggle against the three. Fast break points will be huge.

I think I can speak for all Aces fans in wishing you the absolute best of luck in taking down Seton Hall tomorrow night! We will all be pulling for you.

Also, even though it will mean our ascension to the top of the league will get delayed another year, I really hope you are able to keep Schertz and the team together for next year. It is truly remarkable what has transpired up there and it is much more than just a school getting a good team. You all have suffered nearly as long as us, and your rise and response is not replaceable simply by changing jerseys. We are seeing the magic of this from down here. Continuing this by running it back next year is good for ISU, Terre Haute, Indiana and the MVC.

Cheers!

For those that were there yesterday, does anyone know if the concessions stands take cash, and if they're actually prepared for large crowds?

I didn’t notice any cash, but also didn’t pay too close attention. The lines will be very long, slow and steady throughout the game. They also ran out of burgers and hot dogs in one area for a time. If you plan on eating at Hinkle, I suggest getting there at 5:30 and going straight to food line.
They don’t have more food areas than HC, so I pretty much expected that.

I don’t think Hinkle or Chatham Tap could have ever imagined the Sycamore invasion last night, but hopefully they are a little more prepared tomorrow.

Maybe I should've asked about water fountains too then 😆. I can live without food, but I at least need something to drink after I get done yelling. I wonder if I could pull off sneaking a bottle of water in?

They don’t take cash in Hinkle which quite frankly is an overrated venue. And the concession lines are just as bad as Hulman Center. And the parking situation is abysmal.
Thankfully I'm running a little behind on getting home, which helps me with the parking nightmare. Tomorrow is supposed to be my first day off, but I'm over in Edwardsville, IL (by St Louis) right now with a delivery going to Plainfield at 11 AM tomorrow morning. After they unload me I'm going to park my truck at the company's terminal in Indy and just Uber to the game from there.

Sucks they don't take cash, but whatever. Hopefully I'll find a water fountain, because I'm not waiting forever in a line, cash or not.

From what I gather...SH is a slightly smaller version of CINCY, but doesn't shoot it as well as CINCY.

I think its a case that we just need to keep doing what we're doing and we should be okay.
