[April 4, 2024] Indiana State (32-6) vs Seton Hall (24-12)

WANTED: Passionate Sycamore Fanatics. That You?

Register NOW to join our community of die-hard Sycamore fans.

Looking forward to the game tonight for many reasons; but primarily because my daughter is starting to show interest in the team and I'm bringing her along. I went to a couple of the 00-01 regular season games, but nothing this late in the season. she's already been to the MI St., and the Minnesota games. It goes without being said that I'll support them no matter what, but I'd love if my kids would end up being 5th generation Sycamores.... Teams like this can ignite that passion, we're all witness to something special this year and I'm glad to be along for the ride.

This is questionable for me....many know I have said my kids will have to give a PowerPoint presentation on why they are choosing a University/College other than Indiana State....if we're paying for it! Going to be hard to pry money from me for a different school. Keep in mind, they are 6, 6, and 4 so they have some time for convincing and so do we!!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

About to head out and make the 3 hour trek to Indy with a buddy who hasn't been to a game in 13 years. Where are the happening bars by Hinkle for a pregame brewski?

Am I crazy for saying this NIT run is more fun than making NCAA tourney and losing in say the play in game?

I’ve been anti NIT but man this has been great

Nope, you're not crazy. I preferred going to the NIT as a #1 seed before Selection Sunday and said about as much on here (see NIT Bracketology thread). Normally I wouldn't have thought that way, but with the NIT F4 being in Indy with us as a 1 seed just felt like a no-brainer.

Chatham Tap is just southwest of Hinkle. They were not prepared for the Sycamore invasion on Tuesday, but they said they were calling in all staff for today. It will be tight in there and probably still not too easy to get a drink, but worth it if you prefer to pre-game with all Sycamore fans.

They don’t deserve a second chance from me… That was ignorant not to be prepared for - everyone knew it was coming but them. 😂😂

I'd encourage folks to actually go to Broad Ripple for drinks and food beforehand. It's only 2.5 miles away from Hinkle and wasn't overly busy on Tuesday. I'd suggest Kilroys or Broad Ripple Tavern! I plan to be at one of those spots.

Indiana State posted on the school Facebook page that if people wanted to welcome the team back after the game tonight “win or lose”, it’ll be at 5th and Chestnut around approximately 11:30pm. Said they’ll have more info after the game.

Sorry guys, I'm not going to make it now! The wrecker had to come pull me out of the ditch. My apologies for those of you passing by Brazil on the way to the game. (JK I'm actually in Indy already.)
