There was a catch just like that a couple of years ago in a college game.
Need video proof, if not then this is indeed the greatest catch ever.
Remember the play in question. No air was involved. That was possibly the greatest football play I have seen in high school football. But granted he didn't adjust to the ball in the air so i am not sure this would be one of those coach pats on back moments.
I'm not football player and I know what your trying to say (or are actually saying) but I'd say he made a pretty good adjustment, he was badly overthrown. Sickness! lol
No doubt it's amazing I just heard what my hs coach would have said in my ear. Great play no doubt.

Wasn't the catch I was thinking of but the horizontal ness of the other catch. I think the other one is better imo

Are we talking greatest catch at any level? If so, this was amazing, but how could you ever pick just one and definitively call it the best? Heck, Garcon had a catch similar to this one in the pre-season, although I think it was two handed.

Funny, I went to find the Garcon catch I was thinking about and found a clip of a catch he made in high school or college - can't tell - that tops the one that started this thread. If only he could catch the easy passes that land right in his hands.

Maybe, but there was also pass interference on his play.
Great catch by garçon first catch was better, he outmanned the db but that was a pretty weak PI...

Wish there were clips on Youtube of great receptions by Sycamore players. That's another thing one of us needs to put together.

AJ Green is probably one of my favorite college players of all time and that was indeed a fantastic catch. They are all good catches, the high school players catch was just stupid... He shouldn't have been able to catch that ball lol
