A Lubbock judge. In what sane world does Brendan Sorsby get to play collegiate football again?
All he needed was a court injunction. It’s not the final verdict. By the time it goes to trial, he is in the NFL.In what sane world does Brendan Sorsby get to play collegiate football again?

The P4 got exactly what they asked for......
I don't have an ounce of sympathy for their butt hurt selves.
But I do agree this guy shouldn't be anywhere near college athletics. If he is allowed to play, what little guardrails there were on the gambling just got completely decommissioned
It wasn’t just betting on his team to winim ok as long as the betting was on his team to win. this type of judgement wouldnt be Texas only. it would have happened at any court at any P4 school's state.
That means he will do everything he can to make sure his team covers the spread...which means it's affecting his performance on the field. He could literally attempt a risky play, so that he can cover the spread, instead of just doing the smart/safe play. That risky play could result in a turnover or even a loss, thereby changing the nature of the play on the field.im ok as long as the betting was on his team to win.
Yeah I'm sure every college athlete will just bet on their team to win.....Pay no attention to the fact that it is actually easier and more controllable to help your team lose....But i'm sure these kids are and will always bet on their teams to win....The teams that they have no loyalty or connection too....That they won't be playing for the next season....This will end well....im ok as long as the betting was on his team to win. this type of judgement wouldnt be Texas only. it would have happened at any court at any P4 school's state.
