Some speculation we might have been without Avila but also that Cincy might have been without a key piece or two.

Better to win than not win. Just grain of a salt.

If we’re going to be as good as some of us think (and we all hope) we’ll be, we should be able to beat the 11th best team in the Big 12. Glad to see we got the dub!

Questions what is ISUs radio station this year and what is the best TV option ESPN -plus?

The best links are always posted on GoSycamores. On the schedule page, they always post the radio/TV links the day of the game. But yes, we're typically available on ESPN+ unless it has been flexed to national TV.

Last year's data: Big 12 was the number one rated conference in the USA by 1.5 points over the Big 10. UC with last year's numbers comes in at #10 in the 14-team expanded league. The rating was 83.35 versus the league average for the original 10 of 85.5. ISU finished last year with a 77.5 rating; UC picked up a great transfer from Butler so may perhaps be equal to or better than last year.
Middle of the Big12 in power rankings would be an excellent place to reside.

ESPN+ is well worth the roughly 10.oo a month to be able to see most ISU games, IMHO. It breaks down to a couple of bucks per game each month at worst, and gives me something to look forward to on a cold weekday evening in Jan and Feb.
