Duquesne lost another home game today against New Mexico State so they won't be kind hosts. It doesn't look like they draw many fans though.

looks like their home arena is 'smallish' - think mid-sized Indiana HS gym but they play some "big games" (the City Game - annual rivalry game vs. Pitt and other games that they know will draw well at the PPG Paints Arena (home of the NHL Penguins)

I'm predicting a win. Mainly because I think we have a real shot at going the whole season without losing two in a row.

With Duquesne's size down low, what is everyone's thoughts on moving Robbie to a 4 and putting Mcknight in as the 5 starter? Would that combination work together do you think? We always discuss Mcknight with Stephens in as a 4 but i have never seen the combination of Mcknight and Robbie mentioned.

"Indiana State’s Courvoisier McCauley leads the league and ranks 2nd nationally with 99 three-point attempts. He’s on pace to finish in the Top 5 all-time in MVC history for treys attempted in a sea-son. Notably his teammates (Zach Hobbs and Masen Miller) are two of only three players in DI (Dean Gabrelcik of UNC Asheville is the other) to have attempted 20 or more shots this year with none of them inside the arc. Hobbs has taken 24 shots (all 3-point tries) and Miller has 23 three-point tries and zero 2FGA."

Coop expected to return. So I think our ball movement will be better. I’m going go with a W here. Think it will be close though.

If you do that, who's minutes do you cut? I don't think that works with our supply of wings and guards. That would cut into Kent and Stephens and I don't think that works.

I think we need Gibson handling less and Henry/Larry handling more.

Marshall plays with pace and they just came out and ran by them in the first half and then played them even in the 2nd. Moving the ball and not turning it over while maintaining our pace will be what I'm watching for.

With Neese back in the lineup the ball should move.

I find it amazing that nobody has commented about Tre Williams playing for Duquesne. I think it is a interesting connection to the game.

The last game he was a starter and scored 8 pts. Definitely not an offensive focus of their team. Still undersized with no outside shot.

Yeah, why'd it take you so long to comment about him!

Just kidding.

I'm definitely interested in seeing him play against us on Saturday. Really liked his playing-style and that baby hook when he was a Sycamore.

Tre's dad (I think) was at games and was very cool, but his game is very limited.
Loved Tre's father. A great guy and always great to talk to. Tre's natural position was always power forward. He would have flourished with a true big man center next to him. But then again, what PF wouldn't?
