Considering IUPUI only draws about 250 people at home games, I can't imagine they will be bringing a very large group to Terre Haute. I went to two IUPUI games at the Jungle and if you took away the visiting fans and the people who were only there because there little kids were performing at halfitme, they probably had no more than 600 people total for both games.

Indiana State should start a ticket exchange online so that people can buy tickets from season tix holders that don't attend more than two games a season. Would be a win win.
.....sure u weren't at the local high school game! Wonder how these teams pay their bills and stay afloat.
Reminds me of a high school game not too long ago. The game was between two teams that hated each other and had battled the first half! At half time we had the dancing bear--the tumblers--the jugglers--grade school all-stars recognition etc. Coach looked at me --after waiting to get back on the floor to start the second half--and said. " somewhere in this F*****G Circus we are suppose to be playing a basketball game"!!:biggrin:
Most high schools and some college teams have all these " dog and pony shows" in an effort to pay the bills! I don't recall all that BS back in the dayz and seems like it is only getting worse!
Oh how I live for the return of the day when folks went to the game to see their team battle and knock the other team on their ass!
Guess I'm a dinosaur!

Not exactly a new thought on here but Blue, I think your right on target......it's time for this to happen. This no-show mentality is KILLING ISU basketball and has thru the "tough" years (which actually are MOST of the years in HC). The lower bowl being 20% empty for "big" games and 40-50% empty for the majority, truly sucks and reflects horribly on athletics at ISU, IMO. It also reflects poorly on the school when we're on TV (non-TH) and that mass of empty blue seats sitting there time after time. Not too sure why we can't do it because I know that other schools similar to us do it, even where their problem isn't nearly as acute as ours.Indiana State should start a ticket exchange online so that people can buy tickets from season tix holders that don't attend more than two games a season. You need to go watch a Batesville-Greensburg game. A couple of weeks ago they met in Batesville people starting lining up at 5:00 p.m. the place was packed a half-hour before the jv game. The return game is in January at Greensburg.
Looking at my TV guide, I'm seeing a Mountain Biking program listed at the time of the game on WTWO....is this the same for anyone else?
Sounds like Batesville's trying to model BudDawgII's 2009 Princeton fan base, which the Seymour A.D. echoed was the largest he'd seen since '90 Damon Bailey & Bedford! Princeton def. Greensburg in the semi-state (5k of the 8k attendance were from Princeton) & won the IHSAA 3A the next weekend, UNDEFEATED.
Seeking----predictions on the crowd and score of todays game?
