It's a pretty quick turnaround to our second conference game and I have to wonder...

Should we be nervous about going up against the preseason #1 on the road?
Will this game go to OT? 2OT? 3OT?
Could their 66% FT shooting be our saving grace?
Or are they going to destroy us from the 3pt line?
Are you aware we've shot 37% from three in our last four games?
Will Enel play more than 17 minutes?
Will Enel shoot 100% from the FT line for a second straight game?
How can Sterling's 3pt form look so disturbing and yet he shoots 90% at the FT line?
Will we see a Jo to Enel alley-oop?
Can we improve upon our 1.27:1 Assist to Turnover ratio?
Will the outcome of this game be an early Christmas gift or just a lump of coal?

Lump of coal....gonna need a superman to turn it into diamonds. What are we gonna do if Vorst goes down?

I will be very surprised if we keep this within 15. The Redbirds started off slow this year, but are playing really well now. The just won at SIU who is a pretty solid team, themselves. I hope I'm wrong, but we will need ILSU to play a really poor game to have a chance in this one.

I don’t know that I am in the mood for this… In fact, I know I’m not. Jason put me on a 24 hour timeout.

I’m not a big NBA guy - I hate it in fact… But I watched one game this season and saw the Pacers on opening night pour everything they had into a double OT (I think) thrilling loss to OKC. I left that game thinking that was the best the Pacers can play without Haliburton and they still got beat. I left that game thinking they are absolutely cooked.

That’s about how I feel following the Bradley game…

JVB in the starting line up for Young

Makes sense… Young had a hand in 8 points in a span of about 4 minutes in the first half of that Bradley game that helped establish ourselves.

Meanwhile… outside of a once in a billion shot JVB threw it to Bradley as often as he threw it to open teammates.

Smh It’s probably the right decision and maybe will light a fire under both players.
