- Avila plays horrible in the first half. like not bad. But horrible. Probably was -12 point differential
- We played or worst half of basketball all year and still had a 1 point lead
- Bledson was ho-hum
- We get our first win in DeKalb ever
- Northern Illinois is 1 NET spot from being a quad 1 win
- 23 point road dub

- Boys it's going to be a season to remember if we are doing 20+ point road wins over a top 75 teams where we looked like crap for half the game.

- Kent, Larry, Swope, Conwell with just monster games in so many ways tonight

Literally one spot away from a Quad 1 win, but l take it.

As far as Swope limping…JS gotta call a rolling timeout with 20 point lead and 55 seconds left to get the subs in.

Rough, rough start, but a very impressive 2nd half. I was frustrated early and I always voice it.....if that's a problem for some on here i guess that's too damn bad. I cheer a lot more than I bitch, but you'll all know exactly how I feel. Probably frustrating for others, but thats how I am, sorry not sorry.

Look. Bledson was miserable tonight - 6 turnovers off the bench. It can’t happen. 2 of his 4 assists were late when the game was pretty much on ice. For a team (without Gray for now) with a short ass bench my guy gotta be way way way better than he was tonight. One of the worst games I’ve ever seen him play tbh.

I’m okay with it - I do it too (see second half at Bradley). I get it! But I felt like going in some of this “nervous” energy in the building needs to chill. I tried to calm it pre game then ya all come out throwing punches cause a team started faster than us… It was bound to happen. Long ass season ahead of us - it’s okay! We got a collected group of dudes here.

We can score the ball at an elite level. We’re not going to be out of many games. No one was “wrong” to question that start it was pretty lackluster to say the least. But we gotta keep perspective and this team was never going away in this one - if you thought they might your belief meter isn’t high enough.
