Let's be honest. There is no way we lose this game. Between talent level, coaching, being at home, revenge from last year, the Swope connection, we aren't losing this game. Now can we overlook them? no. They've played a couple decent D1 teams extremely close despite their 0-7 (vs D1 record).

Another thing that gets over looked from last night was the short turn-around between between the Bradley road trip and going up to DeKalb. Those were 2 solid road wins vs. solid competition, after some bus rides in a 3 day span. NIU had 8 days off to prepare for us; and haven't played outside of the Chicagoland area since Nov. 18.

Sycs will be ready for their revenge on the Screamin' Eagles

Really looking forward to seeing our bench play this Saturday! Daugherty, Shelter, Augi, Vorst all need some MINUTES!!!! Is part of the NET calculation margin of victory on the road? What else would explain Coach for not emptying our bench at the 3 minute mark when we had a 22 point lead instead of waiting until the 48 second mark.

Do people realize we have 1 player in the top 15 in the MVC for minutes played? And that's Larry at #11. Could we maybe get shetlar, Daughtry, etc. in there a minute or two sooner when up 20? Yeah. But margin of victory is huge and against a borderline quad 1 game is enormous. I mean we rose 8 spots (22 to 14) just yesterday. Enjoy the ride fellas.
