Miles was offering a bunch of kids who have since gone D-II or lower. Sanford is doing a great job Imho. Started out behind the eight ball ya know...
 
Guess I missed those. Every recruit who I have seen listed has verballed somewhere else. I'll look closer.

Huge focus on WRs and LBs--let's make sure not to forget the big bodies up front. I think this class will likely be as good as Mile's first class--and that would be saying something.
 
I like seeing the receivers and RBs. We need more playmakers on offense. Last year it was Bell, Bell, Bell, Bell, Spencer, Bell, Bell, Bell, Mardis, Bell, Bell, Bell, Bell... We weren't very creative and didn't try to get other players involved enough.

Yeah, but it was still better than the Bears with Bull up the middle, Bull up the middle, pass to Ditka. punt. Those days were hard to take.

Was it vanilla play calling or did the staff figure out our offense was non existent without Bell getting 2-3 touches every series. I'm going with the latter as I attended my share of practices. Really excited about the new DC and all the recent commitments. I'm becoming quite hopeful for this season. What a great time to love Sycamore sports!

That would mean there are a lot of dead scholarships on the team so to speak.

That's why I said we need more playmakers on offense.
