thats my former high school chad is a legend at cloverdale !!! he was the all time leading scorer at butler for a long time till i think archey or one of the graves broke it . He then went overseas and played professionally ..... unfortunately when chad got back to the states he committed suicide in like 1994 I want to say rip chad! he is now in butlers hall of fame ! I did hear he tore up the sycamores for not getting recruited by them though So it maybe a little home town bias but I think he was a tad better than hayward
Some of you are remembering Tucker quite differently than me. I always wished that we had him. If he wanted to come to ISU and our staff at the time didn't recruit him I consider that just to be another major screwup by past staff.
I remember Tucker being a major pain the butt in several games.
screwup or mistake?
...to not recruit Tucker? hell yes it was a screwup AND a mistake; i may be 'mis-remembering' ala Andy Pettitte but I don't think we were in any position to not recruit players like tucker in the greene/locke era; I think any kid who can score 2,000+ points and grab 650+ rebounds at butler (even in teh 80s) could CERTAINLY have played for Greene and Locke
