Our mediocre 3 point shooting over our last 3 games has me a little concerned....are the minutes catching up with our starters??..have our legs lost a little spring??

It was nice to get our starters some rest last night...we could use a few more games like that before St Louis.

I wouldn't be concerned. We have shot well literally almost all season.

The tired legs factor cannot be discounted.
Which is why a game like we had on Wednesday is important. Lots of bench time and very little/ no stress minutes. Playing high minutes under heavy duress and stress wears the body down significantly more than when playing virtually stress free.

What do we think, double-team Mason Alston and let them try to beat us with their other guys? (though Donovan Clay is a beast)

No, you don't double team him but you sure as hell assign Ju and Swope to hound the ever living shit out of him all game long and make sure you don't go under any screens on him.

We're 30.2% from 3 in our last 3 games...."that's nothing to be proud of Rusty"...
I'd be concerned if we had lost a couple of them. I think Bradley, Drake and us are near equals. Tough competition will lower shooting %.
However against Drake, we missed a lot of 3's and a few layups we should have made.

61% against Valpo? I'll take that.

Gameday! Good morning. Not sure if this got posted anywhere but a fun podcast to start your morning. Coach, Robbie Buckets, Jabo and Conwell - who really needs a nickname…

I feel like we had JB2Cool which was Jordan Barnes. I feel like Conwell should be RC3. Robert Griffen the 3rd - Ryan Conwell Number 3.

LFG today boys!

I read the first paragraph about Conwell needing a nickname and I said too myself "RC3 - i really hope his number is 3." Went to gosycamores to see what his # was. Then read the rest of your comment where you already suggested it. I'm going with RC3

Also worth noting but there were some pictures of the team flying to Springfield on what looked like a real nice jet.
For those of you that aren't understanding it yet, those are the things you don't see that a bigger basketball get you. Instead of busing they are flying, they save a day, fresher legs, less travel, etc. when we are 1 win away from being you know what, that makes a huge difference. Especially in these dog days of the basketball season where fatigue and burnout are very real
