Pathetic, over matched, but we shouldn't lose by 33 at home.No more wins this year.Recruiting probably takes a big hit too unless someone thinks a lot of PT will be available.

why any ISU fan is watching this is beyond me, game was over within the first few minutes of the 1st half, save yourself the stress and turn on the MSU-Loyola game and just follow ours on game tracker, much less stressful, especially since we know the outcome of ours.

I only watched the first 8-9 minutes on TV, we looked like we didn't care AGAIN..... I'm officially done with this group.

This is very embarrassing. I agree with Jason as we don't have the talent and skill set our program needs... This isn't a lack of money to the program issue.

Money affects recruiting... How far, how many times the staff can visit , etc.... Money is PART of problem...

Could someone please convince me why I should still attend Arch Madness. Cuz at this point, there's no way.

Today's game was indicative of the need to implode this team, fire Greg Lansing, and let some underclassmen find new schools. They need to bring in a young coach who will stay 3 years before he grabs a bigger paying job. Then we start the cycle over in 3 years. Today was a total disaster, and I am tired of the excuses.

Fact is we can not afford to fire Greg, we don't have the money.
...

Come on 317...as I've mentioned previously, THERE'S A MULTITUDE OF WAYS to make life "uncomfortable" if he's not willing to cooperate by voluntarily resigning. Doesn't Lansing have a "basketball budget?" If he thinks life's a bitch now, he has no idea what it COULD be like. Does he have enough money to RETIRE now? I doubt...which means he'll still be looking for a coaching job and aspire to protect his record. It would be MUTUALLY beneficial for ISU & Lansing to amicably part ways on a positive not. As we all know, there's softball and then there's HARDBALL. It's up to Lansing which game will be played.

First game that I've walked out of at halftime in my entire life. The players and coaches didn't give a shit today....period.

We had some pretty mediocre teams when I was a student here, but we always brought our A games against top notch competition at home. Something has changed, and not just with the basketball team. The entire game experience (as some have mentiined in other threads) is sad. I can't sit there and listen to the band, watch the dance team, watch the cheerleaders, or watch the shitty dead ball programming. It all sucks right now.

I'm going to preface my comments by saying 1) this is the best place to vent. 2) Wichita is really good. Brown, smith and Scott are looking pretty selfish on offense right now. We are so lazy on defense, we never fight through picks, giving up wide open shots. This team has checked out and are counting the days til the season is over. The difference in talent between the teams today was night and day. I seriously don't know if we have a player that would be in their top ten. And the most frustrating thing of all is that we all know we will need to go through atleast one more year of this before we can make a change and then another 3 years of rebuilding. The same cycle we've been through so many times over the last 40 years. This is why this town doesn't give two shits about this team. Just really depressing. And lastly, the shockers need to find a better conference. This league is only capable of giving them a couple good games a year.

Kind of ironic the 33 record point loss also happens to be Larry Bird's number......

And hard to believe.... Shocked that Ron Greene's team didn't have a home loss like today.... Know they have several away losses like today

Question Golden should ask in a press conference (I won't hold my breath) is something to the effect of "last year after losing by 30 at Arch Madness you repeatedly said in the off season this team would have to be mentally tougher and this type of loss can't happen again, so.....how have we gotten to this point?"
