Not a knock on those students who have been active at both home and away games. Just a general observation our student turnout this year in my opinion should not be praised. I can buy that enrollment has sort of contributed in comparing to past years where it was better. But overall - I think it’s been very mediocre given the overall success of our team. Giving back 500 odd tickets because they were not claimed by students sucks IMO.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Indiana State men's basketball plays its second-to-last home game in the 2023-24 regular season on Saturday, taking on the UIC Flames at 8 p.m. ET.

I mean if I'm a student. I'm taking 1 or 2 shots at my apartment, walking over to the Bally get a drink or 2. Then head over to game and watch the sycamores win, and then maybe stop by the Bally on the way back home for 4 hours. That's a hell of a Saturday night. Kids these days.....

That would have been too much for me even when I was a student lol. Anything over 2 shots and I need to lie down in a dark room with a cold rag on my forehead, not be in a brightly lit arena with 8,000 screaming people and loud music blaring for 2 hours.

That’s a dream scenario right there

Don't get me wrong. I'm in my early 30's and after 3 beers I'm in bed by 9:30 and need a week in an iron lung to get me back to functional. But man i just remember being able to go in those college days. My wife and I joke that back in college we would go to the party at 10:30-11. Now if i'm not in my "jammies" by 8:00 i'm out of sorts. the times have changed

I think I was out until 2 after the Bradley game. ISU needs to start making all home Saturday basketball games evening games from now on. Nothing better than getting a win and then going out and celebrating half the night.

Gimme a couple of late nite places to grab a bite after the game beyond the typical Steak-n-Shake/IHOP/Denny's fare

Broadcasters and the conference control the times. ISU has almost no say.

Terminal will be packed unless you cut out a bit early.

Drive 3 mins down the road should be able to grab a good meal at Sonka to the east or Saratoga to the west and not fight the crowd.

You wanna go nicer side then go 3 mins to the south and go Bar Basco. If you only have two sit at the bar and thank me later

Heading north then go 8 mins to Pilonies.

Going east toward Indy - it will be packed but I’d hit Twiggy’s for pizza and beer on my way out do town.

Charlies will be slammed.

I figured Charlies would be packed...we've been there a couple of times, as well as Sonka and Saratoga. All of the others suggested by SSOM and 1SycFan are places we haven't tried yet...appreciate the advise, fellas!!

That's a mistake in my opinion but what do I k ow....we should beat UIC without him. Need him as healthy as possible healthy for Arch Madness

Counterpunch…

He’s played hurt all year thus deserved to call his own shots on when he plays and when he doesn’t. If you disagree you haven’t been an athlete at that level. My body my choice for you Lib tards.

He wasn’t going to sit out in his hometown Eville next week anyway - so getting him some minutes at home prior to that game probably makes sense.

That should go over well. If you’re going to counter might as well try and really drive it home.

Alright I'm going to say what needs to be said. Our "blackout" uniforms are ugly as shit. I get the pink for breast cancer awareness but it's not a "blackout breast cancer" game. Have black uniforms and change the trim from pink to powder blue and they would decent. Right now they look like shit.
