A win here really movrd ud up in the standings provided the rest of the weeks games goes as they should

I just hope we don't find ourselves in a hole early and fight the whole game to get back in it. Much like we did when WSU played in Terre Haute.

The place will be ROCKIN' Saturday night though, 9pm start time (in Wichita). It'll be a party-like atmosphere. Hope we play as well as we did in the 3 OT thriller last year, only we come home with a win this season.

This is 1 of the 3 games we need to win at least one of, (@ WSU, @ MSU, vs CU)

Rewatched the Witchita game. We had alot of marginal calls go against us in that game yet we were competing on the boards and hustle. Two areas that I think can get us a road win in Witchita. Hopefully, the ball and marginal calls bounce our way.

We're not playing a deep team. Quality team just not deep. Cut the head off the snake and we come away with a road win. Been quiet on here concerning the shockers. Sycamores win this one...BELIEVE! Get ready ESPN cause the TREES are gonna roll.

Two observations

1. I would love to be in their position of trying to figure out why we have a whopping 190 tickets left for a game, and

2. Those woes are likely to get worse with Boeing cutting 2100 jobs in Wichita, which will likely cannibalize hundreds more related jobs. That's where a lot of the money in Wichita comes from. I honestly hope it doesn't hurt them too bad, but I gotta think it will hurt.

Here's to a Sycamore win tonight!!! Let's rekindle a little Russ Trudeau magic!!!

Actually not true. Spirit is the big player in town.

Boeing has been a bit player in Wichita since 2005 when they divested of the Commercial Boeing unit (which became Spirit). The remaining military part of Boeing that is left in Wichita had been in decline since that time - there was hope it fortune might turn around with the Tanker program but that never materialized. . Spirit and Airbus are snatching up most of the engineers that are left at Boeing.

Vegas still calling us 14.5 dogs in this game..............................gimmee a break................no Valley game should have a line like that............did part of our team not make the trip or what ? Shockers pretty good but maybe a bit overrated too?

You realize those points are not what they really think the game will be won or lost by don't you?

Points spreads are there to create a market for bets and the Vegas bookmakers want equal wagers on all sides. Starting with high points spread means that really needed to handicap this game to get more people betting on Indiana State. So with it moving from 16 to 14.5 means more people are betting Indiana State than WSU lately, but they still need more yet to get it evened out.

Good point divergence. The Vegas odd makers d
Business is a complicated one...

The one thing that will be great about watching this game tonight is the TV Camera set-up at the Shocker Fieldhouse....(if anyone knows the name of their arena, help a brother out here)

Anyway, their cameras are twice as close to the action as the Hulman Center cameras...so watching is more life like, and not as sterile looking as watching an ISU game on TV or Syc Vision.

I believe someone mentioned changing the camera set-up at the HC to capture this same kind picture for our games in another thread, earlier this year.

Anyway Myles and that big Lurch, Garrett Stutz will look mega-sized on TV tonight...and any high flying acrobatics by Lathan will look 3X's as cool.

Also, its been a while since I watched a Shocker game on TV, but they used to have these large Black and Yellow pinwheel things that the students would twist and make it look like you were entering a small a part of the Twighlight Zone.
