On November 14 2008, as Northern Iowa clinched their conference title with a victory over the Trees I remember watching Trent Miles turn around and state, "Four years from now that can be you, if you work for it, you have to work for it."
I think the prediction may ring true.
Edit:Actually techinically this will be the fourth season since then but you get the idea

I remember the game; crappy weather, about 200 people in the stands... And the faces walking out of the locker room after games that year--that is what made last year (and hopefully this season) so enjoyable.
 
You know whats even better than watching a team that dominates year after year???


Watching a young coach resurrect a program and the youth grow into great leaders and players!!

The fans and support will follow. Good luck to ISU this year I have always been a fan.

Thanks, I meant it all to BTW....I have been lucky to be a lifelong fan of a program that was used to dominating, and even when we started in FCS our Tradition brought in very good players, but quite frankly the 2 down years we had especially the 3-8 season in 2009 was fun because last year our Freshman stepped up and took us to the Quarters and what should have been the Semis so I really got to experience a fun football season. I can only imagine the way you guys feel and the excitement. I hope they can be a force and the Valley can put 3 or 4 in the playoffs again this season.

Im thinking about attending the game out there this year!!
