I'd say it doesn't get in better than the next 2 weeks. The Final 4 get's everything started tomorrow night.

You have the night race at Phenox International Speedway this weekend for the Nascar boys.

Opening Day 2010 is Monday! That means "wait til next year" is finally here!

Monday night the NCAA National Championship Game! One Shining Moment!

Thursday starts the Masters - Tiger Woods is back, does it get any bigger than that?

Nascar boys are back at it at Texas Motor Speedway to cap the next 2 weekends off!

Sunday also marks the final week of the NBA season before the playoffs start!

I don't think it gets any better than the next 2 weeks! ENJOY!

Morgan, don't bring up NASCAR on this site again please. I don't ask for too much but NASCAR might be the dumbest thing, besides UFC.
 
Well as long as UFC is dumber than Nascar then I am satisfied. I will be the first to admit that Nascar has fallen apart since the death of Dale Sr. I mean I could go in deep discussion all day long about it.

I will promise you this, I wont dedicate thread after thread to Nascar like Greenwell does UFC.... Like anyone really cares! lol
 
Really? I didn't think it was Dale Sr.'s death, I thought it was just that casual fans finally realized it was a bit boring.
 
I always said to make NASCAR exciting you have to make one half the field turn left the other half turn right and whomever is standing at thend is the winning

Without a doubt you point to Dale Sr. death... It would not appear that we have a lot of Nascar folks around this forum, so I won't bore you with specifics. But some of the things that have changed since Dale Sr. death that wouldn't have been put into place if he was still racing:

The Lucky Dog rule - if you are the first car one lap down then you can go to the end of the lead lap. Dale Sr. won 7 Championships without such a rule.

COT Car - Car of Tomorrow, a spoiler on a stock car? Are you kidding me, Dale Sr. would have never let that happen.

No bump drafting... You are running at Daytona and Taladaega and you can't bump draft. No wonder long time fans find the spot boring.

Can't pass below the yellow line, now you put an out of bounce line on people driving a race car at 200 mph, your kidding right? It's like you have a wall on the outside and the inside.

The Chase format, dumb - the points reset with 10 races to go. Once again Dale Sr. won 7 championships without the aid of the chase format.

My point is this, the powers that be have screwed this sport up so bad. It's over governed, just like this country is over governed with this new ObamaCare.

I have been to every Brickyard 400 and won't be going this year - Nascar does suck!

Lol I just wanna get the news I know about it out there lol...if I was smart, I would start one LARGE thread lol...And considering its PPV capabilities are the highest of any sport in in existence I guarantee you, people DO care just not you lol...And you underestimate the sport of fighting in general, it's much more brain than braun....

It's not a sport Greenwell, it's simply entertainment. I am not going to get into a pissing contest about this with you. Their are a handful of people on here that might want to talk about UFC and that's really it...

A. that's crap, it's one of the most competitive and overly difficult sports to get to the top...entertainment makes it sound like it's decided before it starts and trust me that's not how it works my friend...You are my boy Morgan but you are WAY off point on this one my friend...

Back to the point,
I would disagree that this is the second best weeks in sports...when basketball is just starting,football is going on, Baseball is ending...that's the best week or weeks in sports...

It get's no better than Final 4 weekend my friend, this is Indiana and 20 thousand people at Butler's practice confirms that this is indeed the greatest weekend in sports. Because not only do we crown a National Champion come Monday but Opening Day is Monday! I love nothing more than that. Might not be your greatest 2 weeks in sports history, but it's mine!

I can't really disagree with this really but all I have to say is that, I really don't watch nascar so what ever race or what not coming up doesn't excite me...I get more excited for the finale of the world series than I do for opening day!

Dude you and I are two different people... I do like boxing, but I also like horse racing - so it is what it is. It's not called MMS (Mixed Martial Sport) it's called MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) - it's not a sport it's an art. I am not taking anything away from what those guys do, nor am I going to argue with you about it. I don't consider it a sport, you do and that's fine with me.

But if you don't think the NCAA National Championship, Opening Day and the Masters all in the same will is the best week in sports then you really can't even make an argument about MMA being a sports because you obviously don't have an appreciation for real sports...

LOL! I am sure this will open the flood gates, I am just going to let you know that you can get the last word. I am not going to talk about this topic anymore! ahah
 
So you are telling me Martial arts are not sports? So Taekwondo and Judo, both Olympic sports are not sports?
Edit: to confirm, both versions of martial arts are heavily used in competition for MMA...
