New Years Eve used to be a big event when you were in college/younger. Now, with two young ones who can't stay home by themselves, it is just another evening. I only care about News Years Day anymore, so I can watch college football. Once you have been through a few New Years Eves, you realize there are only so many ways you can get drunk and excited about a ball dropping and the clock hitting midnight.
As we officially put 2013 to rest, may I wish everyone a happy 2014 with a slight variation on an old Irish saying, May the best days of your 2013 be the worst days of your 2014 for everyone on here.

What happened to all the bowl games that used to be on network tv? I've heard they are mostly on ESPN. I just am not inclined to pay a monthly bill so I can watch commercial tv. May this be the best year of your lives. God be with you all!
