While I love Summer, this is the time of year when everything slows down. So we don't get much off-topic chatter, the board is sooooooo dead.

yep... very little college action... nhl, nba playoffs, baseball is too early for pennant races...

yardwork, kiddie caravans/chauffering for the non-empty nesters...

can't wait for Fall!

last summer? some of the guys played in the Indy pro-am league... Boda probably has more info on it...

the reigning MVC Champions (baseball) will HOPEFULLY be too busy playing NCAA/CWS baseball to roll immediately into their collegiate summer leagues...

The T-H Rex open their 3rd season in the Prospect League on May 31st...

I try to distract myself by following some of the less common sports events, the triple crown of horse racing, the majors in golf and tennis, not to mention the NBA playoffs (now that the Pacers are doing well), but is hard when you know college football and basketball seasons are so far away. At least we have a baseball team to be thrilled with.
 
I "get distracted" by cruis'n down Waveland Ave. in Indialantic around noon hour and check'n out the boardwalk surf & beach side activity...wonderful downtown area w/ cafe's & surf shop's w/ the latest styles & trends...miss Shagg's, though (a long-time surf shop that "sold out" after 4 decades to the Starbucks trend).
