Am I the only one moved by Spencer no longer being on the team? And it's a little fishy that NOONE has heard anything from him!! I mean wht happened? Why is he gone? Isn't he graduating this year!?! The new players they have out there are garb!!! Wht is going thru the coaches head??

Amen. Nothing positive will come out of this conversation. He is not on the roster, we wish him the best, now lets focus on the season and the kids that are with the team.

U should check their "off field activity". But I'm glad Ill be graduating this year. Wont have to see this team go down hill anymore.

I don't attempt to speak for all Sycamore fans - personally I was just curious. Usually when a player of his ability leaves/moves on we hear more conversation about it. I thought from an ability stand point it was a big loss.

As we always say around here, we wish him the best in his future endeavors and we move on. Nothing #1 Fan says will put him back on the squad so whatever caused the separation is simply "old news" and between the player and the coach and nobody else.

Time for all of us to move on.

I agree that clearly #1 had a different agenda than anyone else and not sure what the point of that is a game into the season.

It is worth discussing what losing your best blocking WR mean to your run game? Don't buy into recivers blocking down field? Never watched Spencer play, very physical down field. Same reason TY Hilton not the Colts #2 WR, they went with the better blocking WR DHB.

SSOM, this comment is EXACTLY why I love reading your stuff. You do tell it like it is, no denial there. I for one, do not know the story as to why he left, but it appears many on here do. When these discussions have come up before, IMO, ultimately, we ALL are losers when the shit hits the fan and someone tells the whole story. I see no need for this to turn into a pissing match because #1 Fan seems to have an agenda of some sort and unless we hear something directly from Mr. Spencer or Coach, I don't think talking "hearsay" is good for this board. It is what it is. I suppose if I was dying to hear the whole story, it would be different, but this thread is fast-turning into another R.J. Mahurin discussion and I truly believe that particular thread did much more harm than good for Sycamore Pride.

I don't wish ill will towards anyone (not implying anyone else does) and hope things work out for him. Will I find out if things work out or not, probably won't but doesn't change my hope.

The issue for me isn't so much what really happened to Spencer although I never heard much about it - but who is going to step up without him. I haven't seen one or two names mentioned in this thread as a reason to suddenly forget Spencer.

The thread should be "over" only because it was beginning to divulge information that is rumor and unsubstantiated facts.

If the thread is about who will replace Spencer and his production on the field, then by all means let us discuss. If the thread is "I heard...." then let us all move on. Even if you are 100% certain of the reasons behind his departure, does it do him, his family, this board, its individual members or the progam any good by airing them?

I just think the entire issue is better left alone. Donald is not part of the program, I wish him well in his future, and everything else that as taken place is between him and the coaches.
