Other fan bases? Talk about bad karma. I spent the morning reading up on teams looking for injuries, lineup changes and the like on other forums and it is funny how many Sycamore fans I see on other forums -- some posting more there than they do here. We have no business on ShockerNet talking shit to them after the beating they gave us. On the flip side, some of you laying down on MVCFans the way you do makes me scratch my head as well.

Yeah... No voice here so they go to MVCFans and such places and try and create a voice.

It's like sharing business about your relationship with your significant other with other people - Just never a good idea.

So you go to these other forums why? I will never understand it. I will go on occasion just to read what they are saying about my team, but its never emotional for me.

I have an account on MVCFans that I haven't posted from in over a year.

I don't get it either Jason.

Agreed. I occasionally drift over to MVCfans, but usually to see what people post about the other games in the Valley, who might be hurt, etc. I read, never post.

I never post, but if I did I would never talk smack to anyone about any team, because if there is one thing I have learned (sometimes the hard way) in life, it is that Karma is a bitch.

It's simply the old collegiate spirit. Frankly, there's too much ass kissing in today's "competitive" world, which should be left to the lobbyists in Indianapolis & D.C. Have fun, kids!

Want another example? Look at most collegiate coaches in America. How many actually speak their MIND, post-game?

It's gotten to the point that even rivalries have been "neutered" by the "afraid to hurt one's feelings" fraternity. Think about it...when UE wore those 'friggin satin robes, did fans just talk about how shiny the fabric was? It's all fun...and part of COMPETITION, real or fabricated.
