I guess I should just be happy we are having any kind of season at all given the circumstances. I'm sure I will be more excited once the season actually starts.

Critical reading. I appreciate it since it was the focal point of the conversation in the first place. Prior to Larry moving to iSchool, he was a career 34% shooter, 38% from 2, 24% from 3 and 66% from the line. Also had a 1.36 A/TO ratio while at Lone Star. No stats were available from iSchool aside from them going 7-13 last year.

Everything after that was simply stating that making comparisons when someone hasn't logged a single minute is 100% speculative. We've had recruits that we expected to come in and blow the roof of Hulman Center and couldn't even contribute.

They have the extra year of eligibility but it's up to the coaches if they want to use it. I've got to think Key is off to get paid professionally. I guess you could use it on one of the grad transfers but we've got one spot left for next year and I'd really love a frontcourt player but I know others feel fine with what we've got there.

Yes, I don't know if Larry is a reliable outside shooter. I hope his strength will be penetrating and finishing or passing. I think his full court game will help us also.

I'm expecting to get some outside shooting from Neese, Hankins, Miller, and, of course, JL.
Cobie will score for us and it would be nice if Stephens is effective enough inside/outside to get minutes.

Jason isn't a good judge of what effective looks like... He's more of an IT/BigTech guy. He's influenced.

Is anyone else having a hard time getting excited for this upcoming season? Maybe it's the unknowns, but I just feel like this season will be very forgettable and I actually feel bad for our seniors that will be playing in front of practically no fans every single game. Just think you could have two MVC schools sitting at 7-0 in conference and there wouldn't be 1000 fans to watch them in a battle for first place. I'm just afraid the season is going to feel very exhibition like.

I'm really excited to watch this team play, if they actually get to.

I am not a season ticket holder so I guess watching them will be a television event this season unless I can score some tickets on stub hub or craigslist.

Everyone getting an extra year of eligibility is gonna create a mess. Rosters are gonna be jam packed. Recruits may end up going elsewhere instead of sitting behind someone that would otherwise be gone.
