Someone needs to tell Marico that about 60% of the shots he takes, he can get at any point in the game, and that he needs to work harder to get better looks. He settles for off-balance, fading away shots too often. Those are easy to get at any time during a possession, work for a better one. ISU up five with only about three minutes to play. If we lose this one the wheels will have completely come off on the season....
 
great, Tunnell fouls out, McCoy already out, Arnold in foul trouble too.

Just got absolutely SCREWED on a call against Jay. Jay is directly under the basket, and Bradley drives, lays it in and as the ball is going through the hoop they call a charge. In any other game that is a no call, just horrible. You can't call that so close to the basket. As usual, pathetic officiating in the Valley.
 
6 pt lead, under a minute to play and they have to foul us. If we make our freebies, this game is ours.....

yeah, I don't know why others don't chime in???

Anyway, I live 11 hrs. away from TH, so getting to games is rare, although I did make 2 games in TH this season, when home for the holidays.

ISU wins!! My God, how long's it been since we were able to say that???

At least we know they won't end the season on a dreadful losing streak.

Now, if they hold serve at home a 9-9 MVC record is possible.

6th win is the most in MVC play since the 2000-2001 season I think.

6-8 in the MVC now.
 
If we can stay out of the play-in game on Friday night, then this season has to be looked at as a success. Yes, it won't be what we all would have wanted, but it is as much as we could have hoped for and expected. Very proud of the way the guys battled tonight and when things got tight, they didnt fold. Just need to take that kind of moxie on the road and get some good mojo before STL. Lets get another one on Saturday.....:sycamores:

Well, just got back from the game. That was the most pathetic crowd I have seen. Ever. Might have broken 2000, but not even close to 3. Free throws killed us in previous games, tonight they were our saving grace. We missed 3 total free throws. Gabe was 15/15 from the line. Much better performance inside, Isiah might have had a double double, havent looked yet.

Your right, I am showing my age. It was always on Friday night with the Final on Monday night when I was in Terre Haute. Keep forgetting they switched that a couple of years back.....
