I wasn't trying to say we played bad. I was referring to the stretch when ILSU cut the lead to one possession down from a 10 point lead and we had turned the ball over twice in a few possessions. It was looking "bad" at that moment because ILSU had all the momentum and we looked to be doing what we've done the last several games down the stretch. But, we made a couple big plays and overcame the Redbirds comeback bid. In my mind I knew what I meant, why didn't you?
It was probably our best game offensively, not so much on the defensive end, but I honestly didn't think it was bad defense. We are thin, to say the least, in the post and once foul trouble started there ILSU went after us in the paint.....as they should have.

Wasn’t able to watch the game but listened to Joey O on the radio. Sounded like a real nice outing by the Sycamores. What’s encouraging is it seemed like a pretty clean game with minimal turnovers (by both squads) and ILSU shooting lights out from 3. That’s typically a recipe for a loss but the Sycs were in control the entire time aside a butt puckering final couple of minutes.
Sounds like Young, Hall, Scott, Vorst all had some pretty good games. As many pointed out ESB was a dog at the end of it and made the winnings plays. He can just do things no one else can. Now I don’t want him shooting game winning free throws for us but I want him out on the court during crunch times

Also, it’s always great beating the redturds. Before this conference season started I reallly didn’t care who won the conference as long as it wasn’t ILSU, glad we were able to do our part!

Young has played well since their return from the break. It's hard to get in rhythm when your usage isn't consistent. I haven't really understood the substitution patterns at all.
