It's the opposite....there's no money to buy anyone out so this is your staff (at least, your head coach) for the next couple of years like it or not......

Good thing Bruno called that timeout… Didn’t need the other two apparently. Not sure you get to be the guy calling for peoples heads after takes like that.

You have a lot more faith than me. I was pretty low on them last year, but the Alcorn state game did me in. It’s become a comedy of “how do we blow it tonight”
Turnovers 19-3. Ridiculous. Do we factor in things like court awareness when recruiting guys? Doesn’t look like it. The lineup in the final minute looks like it was drawn from a hat.
Finally figured it out. Graves knows he can only win a max of 14 games a year. He knows he HAS to win 4 in STL to make the big dance so that means he can’t finish the regular season with more than 10 wins. We are currently sitting at 9 so he only gets 1 more mulligan. Dude is playin chess and we are playing checkers
He's probably also saving those 2 timeouts come STL. Someone please let him know they won't carry over.

Terrible coaching the last 5 minutes. Young had to be in we had no scoring with van boog at shooting guard. Camp took like 2 shots in the 2nd half ? WTF! Completely control of the game pissed away with a whimper.

Just checked the score and then read the last 4 pages of this thread. Makes me glad I chose to listen to Mark Levin tonight instead.
Just got home and boy is that a good kick in the nuts. The last time I had signal when I left my daughter's game we were up 68-60 with 6 minutes left. I figured I would come home and catch up how it ended....wish I wouldn't have. Seriously, what the hell is the matter with this bunch that they crap down their leg at crunch time. This was the worst one yet....how do you not score a single fricken point for over 6 minites to close a game, in which you entered those last 6 minutes with an 8 point lead? Unacceptable! They are trying to beat the give-a-damn out of us, I'm nearly convinced of it.
Quick question. Do we have ANY competent coaches on our bench right now? Who ultimately decides which players are in the game at crunch time? Inquiring minds want to know.
I honestly checked out after listening to the introductory press a couple of years ago when he started explaining his thoughts on the transfer portal at the 16:50 mark. I don't think it's "okay" to be fine with guys leaving to "go to a higher level" or wherever. If a majority of the team isn't going to be all in there's really no reason for me to be either. Maybe I'm being too harsh because there is at least some honesty there in that we're not going to be able to hang on to players long term, but we're never going to compete at a high level if we're not at least going to act like a Division 1 school that competes at the highest level. If a vast majority of mid-major coaches, ADs, and presidents have this view point then maybe it's time for them to throw in the towel and promote 1AA Basketball where we can at least compete against like competition.
