Laaaaate game as it was flexed to national TV. Drake owes us for the game in Hulman. Really hope we can figure out the shooting bug or we're going to get spanked in prime time. ESPN Predictor has this 82.3/17.7 for Drake.

Expecting a L here. Nothing else to say. We will probably have the same starting 5 too. Our shooting woes will continue.

Definitely a loss; Trees are 2-8 for last 10 trips to Des Moines, average margin of loss is 11 points

With the way the Trees are making buckets -- this could get ugly quickly

Sycamores have a good chance to win this one. Everyone thinks we lose. Pressure is off. Go kick some butt.

Right. That’s about what it would take for this team to figure out how to shoot… Suddenly no one believes in you. So you gotta trust each-other and find a way.

Problem for me is - I’m not sure how much internal trust exists at this point. I think you’ve got a divided locker room based on the way these guys seem to be playing for and cheering for one another. If that’s the case it doesn’t matter what everyone outside the program thinks of your chances - you are beat before you even get off the bus if that is indeed the case.

Prediction: Starting 5 doesn’t change. Neese finds his shooting stroke. We get a T. We lose by double digits.

I’m not sure about the first part, but getting the technical and losing by double digits sounds about right.

Our opportunity to get things right on the road was against Murray State. This game ain’t it. This is a 12+ point loss.

Penn had eighteen (18) assists v. UE @ Ford Center the other night in their 38 pt drubbing of the Aces, who were down to 8 players. Before the season's over, Bobe's Pizza will be giving out Aces squad walk-on lottery tickets!

Thinking all trust among themselves has gone down the drain with the technicals. Unless Coach is reprimanded by the powers that be and one or both of the players primarily responsible are removed from the flock it won't be fixed. Another lost season.

Been a rough two weeks. I find it hard to believe that we won't win a game again until we play the likes of UIC, IlSt, Valpo, or Evansville again...hopefully this will be that game.

yup I thought Murray was going to be the game we get a much needed win to at least get some momentum back. Don't have much hope going into this one

Yep...I had us with a win at Murray State, but UIC, ILLstate, Valpo, and Evansville are only real chances to get FOUR more conference wins with our remaining schedule.

If we get those FOUR WINS, we will end up at 10-10. And, I don't think that's bad at all. Did we want more? Heck yes, but that's SIX more conference wins than what we had last year.

I think we'll win our next home game (the game after this one) against Northern Iowa.

My prediction:
@DU- L
UNI- W
@UE- W
MUSU- W
VU- W
@UNI- L
@UIC- W
ILSU- W
@BELM- L
MOSU- L

Record= 19-12 / 12-8 MVC

Looks reasonable. I’m gonna go with everything you said, but I think we’ll pick up one of the games you have as a loss to finish 20-11, 13-7. Because I’m an optimist. 😂

Schertz mentioned we might see McKnight and Avila on the floor at the same time according to a tweet from Hunter Tickel

Omg, I had a dream last night that I was playing in a game for ISU at Hulman...we were down 80-52 and I tried to take over the game, we did manage to score a quick six points, but then I woke up. It was a dream, but the other team weren't burritos, so it felt more real than most dreams.

Anywho, ISU 72 Drake 70.
