If this team is going to make a splash later on in the Valley tourney its time for them to make a statement.........................beat Evansville at their own game at their house is step number one!

this game became more critical to ISU today as both SIU and UNI lost, so they're both 4-7 in MVC play now. If we win we move to 4-7 and a 3 way tie for 7th place.

So let's see how motivated these guys are tomorrow night to avoid a date with Thursday in St. Louis

Shoot when YOU'VE GOT A GOOD SHOT! Instead, some players are not taking them and passing off a lot. It gets passed, time starts running out, and now someone else ends up having to take a poor shot. Don't just give up because you may have missed a few, keep at it!!! Nobody wants to miss a shot, but it will and does happen. Ya can't go out there worried about missing, especially when it makes you start passing up good shots.
WE BELIEVE IN YOU GUYS, YOU GOT THIS!!!

I've noticed Printy has passed on quite a few open looks, hopefully his confidence isn't rattled. We need him, RJ, and Eitel to knock down some open 3's tomorrow night. And guys need to keep moving around, no standing around tomorrow night, work for an open look

Is it a "shattering of confidence" that's causing him NOT to launch a trey, or the realization that it's NOT such a "good shot," given his seasonal % from long distance?

This is perfect timing for a game like this. Another that can easily go either way. If ISU wins, it's another great confidence booster. Simmons has that program going the right direction so it won't be an easy night.

I really think Jordan is a good shooter, I just think he is in a funk...he has to shoot the ball with confidence again...

Good luck tonight. Both teams really need this game as each try to fight out of a Thursday night game.

Coach Simmons has suffered through 4 close possession losses and we all know he will push the Aces to not come out flat.

Good luck Sycamores!

I think people have finally figured out to not leave him alone, and like most players he's not nearly as good of a shooter when that happens. What we need to do is to exploit the areas where his man should be helping on others but isn't. When we start doing that, it will open things up for him again.

We are a 4.5 point dog tonight. Seems a pretty good line. If we show up, we can win outright. Big if though.

I really liked the excerpt in the Tribune Star about Dave McMannus roughing up our big guys. We can make a huge advantage by cycling our bigs in this game. THIS IS A MUST WIN if we don't want to be in the play-in game.
